On the evening of July 4th, Kristine Reiser and Fred Hoblit were traveling back to Santa Clarita, when they encountered an injured dog on Hwy 46 in Lost Hills. Kristine, a devoted animal lover and volunteer for Angel City Pit Bulls rescue (ACPB), rushed to assist. Sadly, Kristine was struck and killed by a car as she tried to help the dog.  Another woman was also struck but fortunately received relatively minor injuries.  Fred, thankfully, was uninjured, and is now coping with the tragedy.

Animal welfare was a cause that was near and dear to Kristine's heart. ACPB asks that you join us in honoring her life by paying it forward and helping an animal in need - donating bedding, food, food/water bowls, etc., walking a dog at your local shelter, or opening your home to a foster dog are just some ways that you can help.

Fred Hoblit and Performance Cyclery are placing a donation box at the Valencia store, and he will personally deliver the materials and any financial donations in memory of Kristine to ACPB.
